Perhaps you have a basic page, but you want to spiff it up. Tables and frames can provide you with many more formatting options. Different graphics can enhance your work. Forms can let you collect information from your users, such as ILL requests, reserves requests and even reference questions.

Need more advanced work?
Do you have forms on your web page? You can use Javascript to verify information as the user enters it, to provide "pop-up" boxes with helpful explanations or to perform arithmetic functions on the numbers as the user enters them.

Using Perl, you can customize the information you receive from form submissions, create web pages on the fly and make your pages more interactive.
